WAR CASUALTIES
Wounded In Western Desert The following casualties in the N.Z.E.F. were announced yesterday:— Private Charles Bernie, died. Next-of-kin, Mr. Chas. Bernie, Box 7, Owhango (father). Driver Joseph Carter, wounded in Western Desert. Next-of-kin, Mrs. J. Carter, 149 Broadway, Newmarket (mother). Driver Richard Stephen Tripp, slightly wounded in Western Desert, but remained with unit. Next-of-kin. Mrs. Al. A. Tripp, 10 Harriett Street, Wellington (mother).
