The Vichy Vice-Premier, Admiral Darlan, again conferred with bis Government’s representative in Paris. M. De Brinon, and other French and German officials.

The Paris radio named the American Ambassador, Admiral Leahy, for encouraging those opposed to Laval. It also denounced "People near and even in the Government, all of whom are creatures maintained on our soil by Britain. Admiral Darlan will doubtless seek advice from M. Laval before it is too late.” The German news .agency forecasts further Cabinet changes at Vichy.
