Appeal To Australian Motorists MELBOURNE. February 18. Though lhe revised petrol rationing will not take effect till March 31, Senator Mcßride, the Minister of Supply, issued an appeal to motorists to surrender any unused ration tickets and refrain from drawing unrequired supplies. It was absolutely essential that every possible gallon should be saved to conserve the Australian stocks for use in a national emergency, he said. By adopting a national outlook lhe motorists could help the Government to overcome an ever-increasing difficulty.
