NEW MEMBERS WELCOMED
At Travel Club Tea Miss Amy Kane, cliairnlan of the women’s committee of the- Wellington Travel Club, the secretary, Miss N. E. Donovan, anil members of the committee, welcomed new members at a morning tea held in the clubroom, T. and G. Building, on Tuesday. Miss Kane welcomed the new members in a brief speech and said that tickets could be obtained from Miss Donovan for a bridge, mah-jong and ■*soo” afternoon on Tuesday, March 18, at Miss Phyllis Bates’s studio, Willis Street. All the proceeds are to go to the Fighting Services Queen, and Miss Kane’said she hoped that as many members as* possible would support the effort. The members welcomed were: Mesdames 11. M. Patrick, J. Zahara, J. A. Wilkinson, G. E. Villars, C. M. Kirkland, J. E. Reed, N. J. Oliver, N. Jackson, F. Gapes, A. C. Scott, N. H. Atkinson, IV. R. C. Williams, J. Foully, C. T. Cox, H. E.
