CARNIVAL BALL
Town Hall Next Saturday
With the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association as sponsors and Miss Phyllis Bates as organizer, the Fighting Services “Ball for All” —for men of the fighting services ami civilians —is expected .to tax the capacity of the Town Hall on Saturday. Many girls will be needed to partner the several hundred men who are expected from the camps at Trentham, Rongotai and Fort Dorset. The ball provides an opportunity for civilians, both girls anil men, to enjoy a real ball at a popular subscription and to entertain the men of the fighting services and assist the patriotic funds at rhe same time. Non-daneers may purchase tickets entitling them to supper and seats in the gallery from which to view the ball.
