SEATOUN EFFORT FOR CARNIVAL QUEEN
A number of women's organizations supported the successful bring and buy afternoon held by the Ways and Means Committee of the Seatoun branch of the Metropolitan Patriotic Appeal on Tuesday. The effort was arranged in the Seatoun Kiosk in support of the Fighting Services Queen in the Victory Queen Carnival and during the afternoon brisk business was ilone with the cakes, sweets, Howers, produce and other goods offered for sale. Mrs. J. Murphy played for a community sing and Mrs. Coventry gave vocal solos, accompanied by Mrs. Cuddie. A competition was won by Mrs. Perry.
