Kiwi Club’s Trip To Blenheim The Kiwi Amateur Athletic Club celebrated its ninth annual contest with the Marlborough Amateur Athletic Club for the O’Leary Trophy by missing a transport connexion on the return journey, due to a misunderstanding, and made club history by returning by air. An innovation to the contest was the appearance of a team from the Air Force station at Blenheim, making the competition a triangular one. and adding zest to the proceedings. Conditions for athletics were ideal, and the Kiwi Club were successful for the fourth consecutive year, scoring 96 points to Marlborough’s 23, ami the Air Force total of 20 points.
