Farmers’ Union Competition

WANGANUI, February 14
The annual crossbred fleece competition under the auspices of the Wanganui executive of the Farmers’ Union will be held on Wednesday, April 23. This competition. for which valuable prizes arc to be offered. Ims been very popular in recent years.
The classes are 14/4(1, 4(1/48, 18/5(1 ami 50/56, hoggets 48/50 and 50/56. Fleeces will be classified by the judges. Fleeces from sheep entered or lo be entered in the flock books are not: eligible. Bellies and skirtings will not be judged but if they .•ire left on the fleeces will not be penalized. O’lie judges will pay parficubir attention to colour, quality ami staple. Each fleece, besides competing in its class, will also lie an automatic competitor for the championship. The champion fleece may be of atty class. Entries may be left at the oilice of Mr. F. G.
