Restrictions On Use For Dwellings
Restrictions on the use of corrugated iron for dwelling houses is imposed by a notice published in the Gazette issued last, evening. No local authority is to issue a permit, for the erection of a dwelling involving the use of galvanized corrugated irou without the previous consent of the Building Controller. In cases where no building permit is required from a local authority, no person is to commence the erection of Sueh a dwelling except in accordance with a permit issued by the Building Controller. This action has been taken under the authority of the Supply Control Emergency Regulations and the Building Emergency Regulations.
