'The following naval, army and air force appointments and promotions are announced :—

Major A. H. Wright, V.D., to be adjutant, Ist. Battalion, Hawke's Bay Regiment.
Captain K. B. McKenzie-Muirsou, M.C., to be officer commanding No. 3 Training Battalion, Trentham. and appointed major (temp.). Captain K. B. Schulze to be major and G.S.O. 11, Central District Headquarters. Major G. E. Pollock, E.D., Wellington Regiment, to be captain, and attached to Adjutant-General’s branch, Army Headquarters.
E. de la Mare to be lieutenant, and posted to Guards, vital points, area 1. S.'P. Stewart to be lieutenant, and assistant to the staff officer, Ordnance Service, Army Headquarters. Second Lieutenant F. W. Mothes to be lieutenant and attached to AdjutantGeneral’s branch, Army Headquarters. J. H. Cowdrey to be captain and appointed deputy director of hygiene, Army Headquarters.
