Without being ridden out 'Pleading registered 1.16 2-5 for six furlongs, the first, three in 36 4-5. . _ Winning Rival ran n jnile in l. l,j 4-o, the second half in 51 2-5. Lord Midas and Master Flash, were well matched over five lurlongs in l.n 2-5. Topnlc boat Welsh Fusilier in l.u 4-5. Ladv Derbv took 1.5 3-5. Doria and Palfrey showed plenty of dash to run five furlongs in 1.2 2-5, with the former a nock in front. Doria is likely to contest the Publicans’ Handicap in preference to the Dunedin Cup. Alias was not hurried over six furlongs in 1.20 2-5, Liane and Rebel Star taking 1.18 1-5. Wardress was a neck in front of Royal Chief pt the. end of a mile in 1.44 4-5, the second half in 51 1-a. Trench Fight showed plenty, pf dash to run the first three furlongs in 36 3-5 and completed the journey in 1.15 1-5-Blue Abbey and Knight Commander were on terms all through seven furlongs in 1.32 1-5. Sham Boy and Epic ran five furlongs in 1.6 1-5. Aggravate heat Good Health over five furlongs in 1.7. Radio Call and Rawhamai followed in 1.4 3-5. Espionage and Stabilise went well in a half-mile sprint in 50 3-5. Guy Parade taking 50 1-5. Schoolgirl ami Happy Night were on terms over a mile in 1.48. Donadea showed up much better than Great Bramble in a school over four hurdles.
