The dangers of night-driving in Britain arising from black-outs were stressed by Mr. T. Lamont in an address to the Auckland Rotary Club. Because of these dangers, lie said, many organizirtious which regularly met at night tried as far as iiossible to arrange their gatherings during tiie full moon. Mr. Lamont exhibited :r typical headlamp fixture for dimming and shielding motor-car lights.
