MASTERTON APPEAL FOR CLOTHING
After being in recess over the holiday period, members of the Masterton branch of the Lady Galway. Patriotic Guild have begtln work for the New Year. The clothing obtained through the postal clothes drive lias been practically all dealt .with, and the guild is now appealing for furl her assistance. What is required is clothing suitable for dispatch overseas, or 'in such condition that it will lend itself to remaking. It will be appreciated that the work of sending clothing to the needy in Great Britain is one that is deserving of everyone’s support, and the guild looks forward to receiving suflieient contribution,s to make its work worth while. Donations of clothing or materials may lie left al the Rest Rooms. Dixon Street, or will tie collected if contact is made with the mayoress. Mrs. T. ’ >rdan.
