I At the last meeting of the Brooklyn-Mornington-Vogeltown sub-committee for the Metropolitan Patriotic Committee fund the following resolution was carried unanimously :— “That in view of the fact that our committee has received no reply from the Metropolitan Committee to our letter of November 28, 1940, and that the charges laid by our secretary, Mr. McArthur, against a woman collector on Badge Day not having been proceeded with, and no action whatever been taken by the authorities. Hie Brooklyn-Mornington-Vogeltown Patriotic Committee having full confidence in their late secretary, do hereby resign en bloc by way of protest.”
