JUBILEE CARNIVAL
The jubilee carnival at. the Recreation Ground, Lower Hutt City, will advance another stage tonight, when the NgatiPoneke Young Maori Club from Otaki will present a programme of Maori songs, dances and hakas. In addition, the Municipal Band, under the baton of Mr. 0. Kaye, will play popular seJcctions.
Tn the horticultural hall an historical exhibition of Lwr Hutt relies is on display, and tomorrow night a talk on the Treaty of Waitangi will he given by Mr. A. Mulgaa.
