Concert Broadcasts
Sir, —Is it not possible for the public to enjoy the relay of a concert such as that given by Noel Coward last night without having to listen to the unnecessary remarks by some commentator, and hearing Noel Coward alluded to every second minute as “the famous actor-playwright”? Everyone knows who he is. The 2YA announcers have never given us anything quite so appalling as last night’s commentary.—l am, etc., SWITCH-OFF. Wanganui, January 31.
