AUSTRALIAN LABOUR
Unity Move Made By Lang Conference SYDNEY, February 2. The so-called Non-Communist Labour Party, whose State leader is Mr J. T. Lang, and the Federal leader Mr. J. Beasley, held a conference at Hie weekend and decided by 104 votes to 26 to seek unity with the official Australian Labour Party on the basis of equality of membership and no victimization. Mr. Lang, in the course of a spirited speech, declared that the need for unity iu Labour forces had never before been so imperative. The conference unanimously affirmed its loyalty to the British Empire and the cause for which it is fighting.
