Women Transport Trainees Pass Test ; A practical trial for women who have ■ enrolled in the Women’s Emergency Transport Division in Hastings has been given, the trainees having driven a number of sheep trucks from Hastings to Tomoana, where they were manoeuvred ‘in a small space and parked side by side. Tlie drivers showed efficiency in handling the heavj- vehicles and no mishap occurred. There are now' GO women attending classes of instruction, and a further 20 arc to start their training ’immediately.
