Variety Of Entertainment
The Catholic Services Club in ■Wellington is becoming increasingly popular with men of the forces. A large number were present, on Saturday when Sucre Coeur Association members entertained them with darts,- ping-pong, quoits, dancing and community singing. Generous donations of food were sent by the following:—Mesdames Callan, T. J. Bourke, A. Todd, T. Coltman, M. Luoni and Palmerston North Old Girls.
Among the helpers were Mesdames J. O’Donovan, ‘Lavin, McCarthy, M trams and the Misses Cassie -O’Doimell, Connie Rodgers, Maureen and Cecelia Dwyer, Rosaieen and Paddy Bourke, G. Hughes, G. Lynch, P. Polkinghorn, M. Budgeman, E. O’Meeghan, G. Walshe, J. Clark, M. Luoni, M. Riddell, J Kelly, K. Redwood, P. O’Brien, K. Taylor, F. Burne, Jean, Mardie and Joy Adams. Shirley Millar, V. Monoghan, M. Verschaffeit, T. Thompson, K. Campbell, B. Coltman.
