Masterton Queen Carnival.
The queen carnival in Masterton can now be said to be fairly under way. At an enthusiastic meeting on Friday night of representatives of various organizations, Miss Barbara Barton, a qualified V.A.I). and a member of tlie SI. John Ambulance division, was chosen as the Nursing Services Queen, so that now alt four queens are in the field, with supporting committees and organizations operating in the drive for funds for their respective candidates. At the meeting the Nursing Services campaign was launched. •
