DEMOCRATIC LABOUR
South Island Tour By Mr. Lee Mr. Lee. M.P., left Wellington for the South Island last night to address a. series of public- meetings on behalf of the Democratic Labour Party. He will bo joined for a period by Mr. Barnard, ALP. The first meeting will be in Christchurch and other places to bo visited during the next fortnight will include Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin. Invercargill, Greymouth and Runanga. Messrs. Loe ami Barnard will speak on the immediate policy of the Democratic Labour Party with special emphasis on the development of New Zealand industry. On returning to ■Wellington, Mr. Ix'e will address the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and will revisit Christchurch later in the month to speak by inviralion of the Christchurch Manufacturers’ Association. The party expects fo announce shortly the'names of a number of Parliamentary candidates.
