250 ATTEND Y.M.C.A. SUNDAY TEA
More than 250 men of the fighting services strt down to tea at the Wellington Y.M.C.A. last evening, when members of the ladies* auxiliary ot the T.M.C.A. were hostesses. The chairman was Mr. W. H. Hindle. Several enjoyable items were presented, including vocal solos by Miss Olga Burton and Mrs. Dan Echoff and violin solos by Miss Vivienne Bltrmires. The accompanist was Miss Nora Gray. All joined heartily in community singing, which was led by Mr. Hindle and for which Mr. Mann was accompanist.
Rainspots can be removed from velvet in the following.way: To a tablespoonful of warm vwtgr add six drops pf eucalyptus oil. Stir \yell, lightly moisten a clean flannel pad and rub lightly upon the velvet. Be sure .to work always along the run of the pile. Then rub lightly with a clean cloth to dry and lastly brush softly with the pile.
