BUILDING PERMITS
Wellington Figures For January During last month building permits to the value of £53,321 were issued by the Wellington City Council, as against £52,016 for January, 1940. The principal items last month included 12 dwellings, of a total value of £15,679; block of flats. £10,287; operating theatre, hospital, £6939; and an extension to a factory at Kaiwarra, £6700.
