GOLDEN WEDDING
Jordan—Slotter Mr. and Mrs. 0. B. (Lee) Jordan, 'Wellington, will celebrate their golden wedding today.* Mrs. Jordan was Miss Edith Blatter, Wellington. They were married at the Taranaki Street 'Wesleyan Church on December 31, 181)0, and resided in Wellington, where Mr. Jordan was on Hie staff of Hie Government Life Insurance Office till 1907, when he was transferred lo the Audit Department and stationed in Cliristchurcli, where they still reside. Mr. Jordan was one of the original members of Hie Oriental Football Club, and of the Oriental Rowing Club, and was one of those who inaugurated the Civil Service Social Club, of which lie was president while in Wellington. Since retiring on superannuation he litis been tillable to take any active part in sport or public life, but is very interested in his garden.
