SEA RAIDERS
Eight Nazi Ships May Be Operating U.S. NAVAL OPINION Two Or Three In Pacific (Received December 29,8.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 28. Naval circles believe that perhaps eight Nazi surface raiders are operating in the Atlantic and Pacific. It is believed two or three are in the Pacific and probably five others are in the north and south Atlantic. At least some of them, particularly those in the Pacific, may have refuelled and provisioned from secret bases. Naval circles are confident that all eventually will be caught and destroyed.
