Nazi Action Only In Event Of British Attack LONDON, December 28. The correspondent in Budapest of the Associated Press of Great Britain learned that Germany has planned to cross Bulgaria to Greece only in the event of Britain landing troops in an attempt to use Greece as a starting point for an invasion of Central Europe. The movement of German troops to Rumania is chiefly an insurance measure. Troop Moves Not Confirmed. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 27. There is no confirmation of any kind in London of a report that transport has been requisitioned for carrying a large number of German troops —variously stated at between 300,000 and 350,000 —across Hungary 1o Rumania. Equally without confirmation in London is a report of considerable German troop movements over the Brenner Pass into Italy.
