BANKING AGREEMENT
Dutch East Indies And J apan (Received December 29, 7.5 p.m.) BATAVIA, December 28. It is officially announced that the Java Bank ami the Yokohama Specie Bank have reached an agreement establishing current accounts in each bank/ which will be the only channel for future international payments. It was said that the bank with an eventual excess credit would be entitled to purchase United States dollars from the other bank.
