MAY BE FROM NAZI SEA RAIDER
Empty Lifeboat In Atlantic NEW YORK, December 26. The master of a Portguese freighter reports that he sighted an empty lifeboat marked “Hamburg” SOO miles off the coast of Portugal, suggesting that a German sea-raider may have been destroyed. There is a German liner called Hamburg, of 20,000 tons.
