William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Redwood. of Okoha, Pelorus Sound. Mrs. O’Neill arrived at Wellington last week for the wedding.

Miss V. Sapsford, Palmerston North, is spending the holidays at Paraparaumu Beach.

Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Moller, who were married last week in Havelock North, are visiting Dunedin. Mr. Hope Gibbons and Miss Gibbons, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington.

She returned on Christmas Day. Miss Patricia Dignan, Mount Eden, Auckland, is spending a holiday with Mrs. Owen Campbell, Kelburn. Wellington.

Mrs. A. S. Miller, Takapuna, Auckland, will leave tomorrow on a visit to Palmerston North.

Mrs. C. E. Yates, Khandallah, is paying a holiday visit to Christchurch. Miss E. Hunt, Auckland, general secretary of the Theosophical Society in New Zealand, spent a few days in Wellington this week, and has left for Christchurch where the annual convention of the society is being held. Mrs. J. D. McQuarrie, Highland Park, left Wellington by train yesterday en route to Sydney, where she will be the guest of her daughter, Mrs.' Donald Kerr. Mrs. E. Johanson, Karori, is visiting Palmerston North for the holidays. Misses Olga and Joan Juriss, ’Wellington, are spending a holiday at Purakarnui, Dunedin. Miss Letitia Cradock. ma iron of the New Zealand convalescent hospital in England, whose marriage to Captain Alan Charles Newson, Royal Marines, was announced on Thursday, is the only daughter of Mrs. J. C. Brown, Hawker Street, ’Wellington. She was educated at the Palmerston North High School and at ’Wellington East Girls’ College, and passed her nurse's training at Dunedin Hospital. She has been in England for the past two and a half years doing private and hospital nursing, and was appointed matron of the New Zealand convalescent army hospital three months ago.
