TUDOR THEATRE
Another page in American history is presented at the Tudor Theatre in "Kit Carson,” a picture that tells something of the colourful lives of the great border scout of that name, anil Captain John Fremont, the United States Army ollh-er who led II scientific expedition into California and started the movement that brought that part of the North American continent into the Union. Jon Hall gives a convincing performance as Carson, and others whose portrayals are noteworthy are Lynn Lar: as Dolores Murphy, Dana Andrews ns Captain Fremont, nml Harold Huber as Lupez. How John Webb, lawyer and suave mun-about-town, attempts to spotlight a society scandal, a scandal that involves thousands of dollars and many glittering personalities, rivets attention to “Slightly Honourable,” the associate featurelength attraction.
