During the past month 10 parcels were received for soldiers serving overseas, and the sum of £3 for the Makogai Christmas Fund was handed in to the Wallaceville Women’s Institute, Mrs. Hopkins presided at the monthly meeting, and demonstrations were given by Mis. Chalmers and Mrs. Anderson on making lampshades and papier macho work
