BRITISH MILK SUPPLY
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 26. The Ministry of Food announces that during January, 1941, the maximum prices to be charged for milk food sold by retail will continue at a penny a pint more than the price charged at the corresponding date in 1939. Under the national milk scheme a> daily allowance of one pint will continue to be available to expectant and nursing mothers and to children under live years, at a reduced price of twopence a pin I, or entirely free, according to circumstances. Children of school age may obtain ono-third of a pint daily tor a halfpenny, under Ihe milk-iti-schools scheme.
