Interesting Exhibition Lecture •A very successful lecture, arranged by (lie sociology and psychology siibcommittee of the AA omen s Centennial Exhibition Committee, took place iu. the demonstration hall of the womens section on Saturday night when Mrs. R. S. Parr spoke on the Alaori child. The lecture attracted a large audience. and Airs. Parr, who is a vivid and forceful speaker, was listened to with rapt attention. Her intimate knowledge of the Alaori people added greatly to the interest of her subjecr matter, and she used her own peisonal experiences as a teacher among them to illustrate some of her points. Mrs. Parr dealt in detail with the life of a Maori child in pre-pakelvi days. His days were ordered by cus torn? but were essentially free and happy.
