WIN FOR WAIRERE II
Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club Three races wen? set down to be raced by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club on Saturday afternoon, but only two finished, the race for centreboarders having to be abandoned because of the strong south-westerly which sprang up during the afternoon. The A class keelers raced for the Carina Cup and the B class for the Harman Cup. Following are the results, with finishing times, corrected times and placings:— A Class Keelers. Start 2.40 p.m. IVairere II (lmin.). 4.38.28, 4.37.28 1 Miro (12min.), 5.8.23, 4.56.23 2 Viola finished tile course, but was disqualified for not currying her sail number. Argo and IVakarere did not finish. B Class Keelers. Start 3 p.in. Kaitere (3tnin.), 5.9.1, 5.6.1 1 Gypsy (4min.), 5.10.45. 5.6.45 .... 2 Seabird did not finish.
