SUGAR PEAS
These iwas tire the edible podded varieties, of which there are tall, ini'ditim and dwarf growing sorts. They make a welcome change at any period, but specially in the irutunin. They can be sown in July and treated in the same maimer as lite green peas. 'The pods of lhe sugar peas are soft and tender, owing to the absence of the tough, parchinent-like membrane which makes it possible to cook the entire pods while still .voting.
