SECOND APPRAISAL OF HAWKE’S BAY WOOL

30,000 Bales Expected To Come Forward Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, January 5. It is expected that more than 30,000 bales of wool will be dealt with in the second Napier appraisement, which will begin next Wednesday. A good clearance has been made in recent weeks in the stores at Port Ahuriri. The bulk of the wool handled in the first appraisal has been dispatched overseas, so there is little danger of congestion, though daily handlings are still at peak level because of the delays that occurred to shearing as a result of the December rains.
