MARRIED IN ENGLAND
Former Upper Hutt Girl The wedding took place quietly on Saturday, December 9, in St. Luke's Church, Cambridge, England, of Ronald, second son of the late Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire, Mr. W. Varney Webb, and Mrs. E. E- Webb, 72 Huntingdon Road, Cambridge, and Myra Varna, youngest daughter of the late Captain and Mrs. C. F. Post. Upper Hutt. The Rev. W. W. Partridge performed the ceremony. Given away by her brother, Mr. H. McGregor Post, the bride wore a strawberry-coloured tailored suit of cross weave angora. Her french model felt hat, cravat and accessories were navy blue, and fastened in her grey fox fur was a dress spray of lilies-of-the-valley.
Jliss Joyce Gilmour. Invercargill, New Zealand, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Ivenneth Webb, tile bridegroom’s brother, was best man. Miss Gilmour wore a black braided suit with, a velvet turban and a grey fox fur. and her flowers were pale yellow orchids. After the ceremony. Mrs. E. E. Webb was hostess at a luncheon, and the bride and bridegroom left later for London. Mrs, Ronald Webb will make her home in Oxford while her husband, who is in the Merchant Navy, is at sea.
