Dr. W. H. Riddell, charge d’affaires of the Canadian Legation at Washington, has been appointed High Commissioner to New Zealand. The I Rm. John Hall Kelly, member of the Quebec . Legislative Council, has been appointed High Commissioner to Eire. Dr. Riddell was for 12 years Canadian representative at the League of Nations and was earlier Minister of Labour at Ontario and attached to the Canadian Legation at Washington.
