TURNING POINT BY EASTER?
Japanese Prediction Of
Allied Success
LONDON, January 1
The European war will have reached a turning point in favour of the Allies by Easter and the Sino-Japanese war will erid in a month in a magnanimous peace. This prediction was made by Viscount Hisaakira Kano, the Japanese •banker, who is going to Japan from Lou'don for a brief visit. He compared British and German resources and said the German thermometer is going down and the Allies’ thermometer going up.
