Waitaki Beat Southland By Telegraph—Press Association. OAMARU, December 14. The annual cricket match 'between the Waitaki and Southland Boys’ High Schools was won by Waitaki by an innings and 111 runs. Waitaki declared at 445 for nine wickets, Macintyre hitting up 284 not out. He scored bis first century in 61 minutes, the second came in 136 minutes, and the total of 284 occupied 193 minutes. Southland were dismissed for 235, Gilbertson being ton scorer with 61, and in the follow-on all were out for 99. For Waitaki Miller took seven wickets for 36 runs and two for 17. The annual match between St. Kevin’s College and John McGlashan College was won by McGlashan Iby 16 runs. St. Kevin’s made 120 and 123, and McGlashan 107 and 152. Fallow and McLean were top scorers for St. Kevin’s, with 54 and 46 respectively.
