The Wellington Plunket Shield cricket team to play Auckland and Canterbury at the Basin Reserve toward the end ot this month has been chosen iby Mr. W. J. R. Christophersen, sole selector, as follows: — . TT E. G. McLeod (Hutt), captain, A . H. du Chateau (Wellington College Old Boys). O. Wrigley (Kilbirnie), W. Hepburn (Midland), E. W. Tindill (Midland). AV. G. Rainbird (Wellington College Old Boys), J. A. Ongley (University), W. F. Airey (Wellington), J. K. Lamason (AVeliingtou College Old Boys), D S Wilson (Kilbirnie). T. L. Pritchard (Manawatu). J. Ashenden (Kilbirnie). , , , . The twelfth man for the Auckland match will Ibe announced later. Additional players to practice are J. R. Sheffield (University), R. Crawford (Midland), R. Buchan (Hutt), and K. Parkin (Kilbirnie). Any player not available is asked to notify the secretary. Mr. J. A. Carrad, immediately. Practices will be held, at the Basin Reserve on Tuesday, AA ednesday and Thursday of next week. In the event of bud weather the players are to attend meetings on those days at 5.15 p.nfi in tlie association’s rooms.
