Club Secretaries And Treasurers CHANGE THIS SEASON Only nine entries ibeing received for the pairs tournament which the ellington Bowling Centre intended to hold for secretaries and treasurers of affiliated clubs, and which was to have been held on December 7. it was postponed by the tournament committee, and last night the centre executive decided to abandon it for the season. It was decided that a one-day pairs tournament be held on February 15 for secretaries mid treasurers, substitutes from the remainder of each club’s executive to be allowed. Permission was granted the Hutt club t<> hold n one-day open tournament on January 2. ... ~ ~ . It was decided to invite the Marlborough centre to visit Wellington on February 3. ... The South Auckland centre having indicated that a team would be travelling as far as Wellington late in February or early in March, it was decided that South Auckland 'be invited to play in Wellington. Permission was granted lor tile annual Public- Service tournament to be held ou February 8. The president. Mr. T. Lock, drew attention to the non-observance by some players in mid-week games of the centres rule that proper bowling clothes be worn.
