LIFE-SAVING AWARDS
Wairarapa College Wins Cup For Best Percentage Dominion Special Service MASTEKTON, December 12. The William Henry Memorial Cup, which is awarded to the school with the highest percentage of life-saving awards on tlie school roll, was presented at Wairarapa College yesterday afternoon by the mayor of Masterton, Air. Jordan. After stressing the importance of life-saving work he presented the trophy to the head prefect. I’at Baskerville, and Dora Hathaway, who has taken a prominent part in life-saving work. Miss Donald, a representative of the Wellington branch of the Koyal LiteSaving Society, congratulated the college girls on their .winning the cup for Hie second year in succession.
