New Zealand Celebration In New York

NEW YORK, September 25.
Six thousand visitors to the World’s Fair joined with tho New Zealand colony in the celebration of Dominion Dtry. United States army, navy and marine forces paraded aud the official party called on the mayor, Mr. La Guardia, and Federal and Fair officials. The official party comprised the New Zealand Commissioner and Mrs. Firth, Mr. Ray Johnston, president of the newly-formed New Zealand Society of New York, Sir Charles and Lady Norwood, the British Consul, General Godfrey Haggard, and the receptionist at the New Zealand pavilion, Miss Bathie Stuart. Ou behalf of the World’s Fair, Mr. J. C. Holmes forecast an increase, in the number of tourists to visit Np)' Zealand, as a result of the publicity at the Fair and the cutting off of Americans from Europe.
