“The Dominion executive of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association is unanimously in favour of wet canteens." said the Dominion president, Mr. Perry, M.L.C., when the telegram which stated that the Auckland branch was urging the establishment of wot canteens was referred to him. Other branches of the association also are taking an interest in the welfare of men on service, and in subjects that’ require approach to the Govern ment are referring their opinions to the Dominion headquarters for the parent body to act.
