RED CROSS SUB-BRANCH AT TITAHI BAY
A meeting was held on Saturday evening at Mana House, Titahi Bay, for the purpose of forming a sunbranch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, Inc. A large number of residents attended and showed themselves to bo in thorough accord with the objects of the society, and ready to co-operate with the recently-formed centre at Plimmerton. As a beginning, arrangements were made to maintain regular supplies of comforts for the soldiers on duty in the district. Other activities will be entered Upon as soon as the plans of the society are disclosed.
