W.D.F.U. DANCE AT UPPER HUTT
The annual dance of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, which was held recently in Upper Hutt, was another outstanding tribute to the energy, of the committee. There was a large attendance of members and friends, and the entertainment went with a swing throughout the programme of modern and old-time dancing. Rows, of scarlet and lemon streamers were hung from the walls and long trailers of lycopodium and gaily-coloured lights most effectively transformed the hall into a lovely dance room. Members of the division served a delicious home-made supper.
