Much interest was centred in. the challenge badges played for in Wellington on Saturday at the indoor bowling green. The holders, Collins, Kober, Overend, Gauntlett, were - defeated by a narrow margin after a run of four successive wins. The challengers were Coban,’McKenzie, Laurie, Tucker. The final score was 20-18.
