British Position In WarTime LONDON. July 28. The Home Secretary. Sir Samuel Iloare, announced in the House of Commons that the British Broadcasting Corporation would not be taken over by the Government in time of w:ir. but would be in substantial liaison, as with the Press and cinemas. There would be a censorship in each case, but considerable latitude would be allowed the Press on hbe basis of cooperation.
