Miss Marjorie Wilson, Christchurch, arrived at Wellington yesterday to join the Maunganui on a cruise to the South Seg Islands. Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Mcllraith will leave Wellington today to make their home In Auckland. Mrs. J. E. Armstrong, Mount Clair, Akaroa, Is visiting Wellington and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. F. Smith, Lower Hutt. Miss L. Carmen, Eltham, is on a three weeks’ holiday visit to Wellington.
Mrs. T. S. Oldham is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington. Mrs. lan Roy, New Plymouth, and her niece, Miss Joyce Miller, are on a short visit to Wellington. Miss Miller was a bridesmaid at the wedding of her aunt, Miss Patricia Young, to Judge R. N. Jones, C.8.E., on Saturday. Recent visitors to the Chateau Tongariro included Mr. and Mrs. N. N Mantheil, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. George, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. and Mrs. Q. E Lavelle, Mr. and Mrs. Norwood, Mrs. McKay, Miss E. Faulkner, Miss Y. Wallis, Miss Clist, Miss Gunn. Metcalfe, Palmerston North: Mr..and Mrs. R. C. Bunny, Mrs. A. W. Don, Miss Paterson, and Mrs. Miller, Masterton; Mr. and Mrs. Ensor, Miss J. Faire, Mr. and Mrs. P. P. Shield, and Mrs. J. M.
